DRAGER ATLAN A350 is a device for inhalation anesthesia, used in operating rooms, preoperative and recovery rooms,
It has one port for a vaporizer with the DRAGER DW-2000 mounting system, no vaporizer included - can be retrofitted for an additional fee,
Gas powered:
2x O2,
1x AIR,
Ventilator driven by an electric motor (electronically controlled),
Main screen:
15.3” (38.9 cm) TFT LCD touch screen, configurable screen layout, intelligent alarm management with an extensive help system,
Fresh dosing gas:
Gas mixer:
Electronically controlled gas mixer with emergency manual O2 dosing,
Fresh gas flow (FG flow):
Off: 0.2 to 15,
O2 concentration (FG O2):
21–100% vol. (carrier gas: AIR), 25–100% vol. (carrier gas: N2O), N2O cut-off on O2 pressure drop - configurable minimum O2 flow,
O2 flush:
25–75 l/min. at supply pressure 2.7 to 6.9 kPa x 100 (0.27 to 0.69 MPa),
O2 insufflation flow (Aux O2):
Off: up to 20 l/min. - flow for O2 insufflation (Aux O2) also possible via vaporizer with the "Add O2" setting,
Ventilator and ventilation parameters:
Electronically controlled and electrically driven piston ventilator (E-Vent plus), with fresh gas supply compensation, does not require a driving gas, i.e. the ventilator does not consume any medical gases during operation (regardless of the gas supply). Adaptive piston control allows for optimization of gas exchange time and fresh gas use; volume is automatically adjusted to the set patient category and ventilation parameters,
Standard ventilation modes:
Manual / spontaneous breathing (Man/Spon),
Volume-controlled: time-variable (VC-CMV),
Pressure-controlled: time-variable (PC-CMV),
Respiratory rate (RR): 3–100 breaths/min.,
Inspiratory time (Ti): 0.2 to 10 s (I:E ratio 1:50 to 50:1),
Inspiratory time to expiratory time ratio (I:E): 4:1 to 1:10 (I:E parameter setting),
Tidal volume VT in VC modes (parameter setting):
From 10 to 1500 ml.,
From 5 to 1500 ml with advanced neonatal support option,
Tidal volume monitoring, lowest detectable VT:
≤ 10 ml for Pediatric and Neonate patient categories,
≤ 20 ml for Adult patient categories,
≤ 3 ml with Advanced Neonatal Support,
Trigger Sensitivity (Trigger): 0.3 to 15 l/min,
Peak Inspiratory Flow: 180–220 l/min,
Inspiratory Pressure (Pinsp):
PEEP +5 to 80 hPa (cmH2O) (from 7 to 80 hPa (cmH2O) when PEEP = Off),
Pressure Limitation (Pmax):
PEEP +5 to 80 hPa (cmH2O) (from 7 to 80 hPa (cmH2O) when PEEP = Off),
Pressure Support Above PEEP (Δpsupp):
Off, 3 to (80 – PEEP) hPa (cmH2O),
Safety features:
Man/Spon ventilation with O2 and anesthetic gas dosing possible even when the device is switched off (emergency start),
Manual emergency mode allows switching directly to manual ventilation while maintaining gas monitoring and ventilation - continuous supply of O2 and anesthetic gases from vaporizers possible,
Mechanical ventilation using ambient air in the event of a complete gas supply failure (change to intravenous anesthetic administration required),
Test of the actual presence of O2 as part of the automatic device test (requires integrated PGM module),
Comfort features:
Fully automatic system test including calibration of all relevant sensors and checking of all valves in the breathing circuit; normally no user intervention required after starting the test; optional programmable test (Auto On function, requires software version 2.0 or higher),
Automatic alarm threshold setting function,
Breathing mode to eliminate alarms when using a heart-lung machine,
Breathing bag as an indicator of fresh gas deficiency and leaks,
Pause mode for short-term interruption of ventilation and fresh gas flow,
Data storage on a USB stick (alarm history, self-test results, screenshots, trends and device configurations),
Time savings by transferring default settings and configurations to other Atlan devices using a USB stick,
Integrated, adjustable lighting of work and documentation surfaces,
Possibility of selecting menu languages: CS, GER, ENG, FR, SCR, IT, LV, NED, NOR, PL, PT, BR, RUS, ROM,
Included:
ATLAN A350 User Manual in English (PDF),
