• The Eppendorf 5415C is a compact, low-noise centrifuge that reaches a maximum speed of 14,000 rpm and an RCF of 16,000 x g in ten seconds. The total centrifugation time is controlled by a built-in 30-minute timer that automatically shuts down the unit. The 5415C centrifuge has microprocessor control of operating functions, which allows it to operate at very short spin times. An LED indicator light turns on and off at 1-second intervals for counting. The Eppendorf also features a safety switch that prevents the centrifuge from starting when the lid is open, and a safety lock that prevents the lid from opening while the centrifuge is running. The 5415C's covered, quick-release, fixed-angle rotor provides better aerosol control and holds up to eighteen 1.5-2.0 ml tubes. The centrifuge stops within 12 seconds,
