The Lungtest 500 spirometer
is a small, portable electronic instrument designed for use in medical offices and outpatient clinics. The spirometer includes a built-in specialized computer for performing tests and processing results, as well as a precise measurement unit.
The spirometer allows for the entry of full patient data: last name, first name, date of birth, weight, height, gender, patient ID number, and test number.
Automatic monitoring of test performance according to ERS recommendations is confirmed by a printed message: "Test performed according to ERS recommendations."
An audible signal sounds if the time limit is exceeded by 3 seconds after recording a forced exhalation.
Spirometry - a test that allows for the determination of VC, IC, ERV, TV, BF, and the FEV1% VC ratio for a flow-volume loop test. The test is monitored in real time on the spirometer display.
Flow-volume loop - the test allows for any number of inhalation/exhalation maneuvers with simultaneous exhalation curves observed on the spirometer display. After the test is completed, the envelope is automatically calculated and the following parameters are determined: FEV1, FVCEX, PEF, MEF75, MEF50, MEF25, FEF25/75, MEF50% FVCEX, FEV1% FVCEX, FVCIN, PIF, MIF50, and FEV1/VC. You can discard curves with artifacts and select the best curve.
Maximum Voluntary Ventilation - allows you to determine the MVV, BR, and BF parameters. Medication intake control test - when the test is repeated after the patient has taken the medication, the test results are reported as related to the results of the test performed before the medication was administered.
The database can store the last 100 tests, compare two tests on the same patient, and compare four selected parameters from thirty tests on the same patient.
